Description
This is an idea for the 2018 bomber the US Air Force is currently thinking about. Mine has the mission of B-1 combined with the stealth of the B-2. If anyone wants I'll write a fake history of the B-3 later.Related content

I'm curious how well stealth can work with super-sonic platforms. We will probably see it in the next few years.

Ive read a few reports and apparently the 2018 bomber will be subsonic to limit costs. However, the B-2 is high subsonic so it may be based on that

Speed is usually designed to get you past defenses or able to runway from the enemy. Stealth however is supposed to counter both. Now as anti-stealth measures improve maybe there will be a move towards super-sonic.

Thanks Kurarun, I might try another version of this based on some new designs that have appeared for the 2015 bomber the USAF is looking at.
