This Cover is Drawn by Jeff Smith Copy right Jeff Smith. Bone Comic #31Color by me.
This is another piece from my Portfolio and is older work by me.
I colored the Bone Comic covers for a couple of years.
One of my fav jobs.
I will post more of my portfolio over the weekend.

the cover on my version is different..., but you seriously colour for the Bone series?! That is so awesome ^^ I gotto say you did a tremendous job! Its coloured beautifully!

No there are a lot of Bone Books. I did that cover in the 90's.

Did I tell you that I have FINALLY the complete bone hardcover color edition!!! Yay!!!! It was re-released here in germany in the last months
I collected the original b/w "monthly" series some years ago but a few issues are missing (especially in the end

Of the Bone series, I think the Rockjaw book is my favorite. And I really like your coloring job on this.

I was working at Image Comics when Jeff had his books re-published there. I ended up coloring his first cover and he liked me so we worked together for years after that.

I have a poster of this back home. I absolutely love Bone! I got addicted to it in high school and religiously bought all of the books.
I've always liked this piece in particular because of the depth implied by the lighter colors in the background. That cat is huge!

I wound up just buying all the little compiled Bone books. It was too much trouble to find all all the comics. I definitely enjoyed it, though!
