Hmmmm...
On perusing Google, Necronectes was more to the south, along Baja California and California.

Seemed to be an exclusively tropical genus. Washington waters would probably have been more subtropical to temperate in the Eocene-Oligocene

By the Miocene, it was already in Panama.
