Yeah! Ottery St. Catchpole is the name of the village next to the Burrow! I mean, it's a fictional name, but maybe British people like naming places after Ottery Saints. LOL.
According to Cabin Pressure, the city was thus named because St. Mary was attacked by otters, but instead of going to hell, God looked at them and said "Oh, you guys. I can't stay mad at you" and let them into heaven.
So heaven is full of otters.

lol aww. Cute Otter. I've never heard of Cabin Pressure but I do love airplanes. I actually spend the better part of my days listening to Live ATC [link] It's a website where you can enter any airport code in the whole world and actually listen to their Air Traffic Control live. I prefer to listen to JFK international Tower and Ground Control and Boston-Logan Tower. They are the two funniest ones. Although you have to listen for a long time to hear funny stuff. Most of it is stuff like "Jet Bluuuuueeeeee contact Departure" or "Speedbird such and such you are clear to land" or "China Air taxi on Juliette and hold short of Mike-Alpha"..."Roger, China Air, Taxi on Juliette and hold short of Kilo"...."No China Air hold short of Mike Alpha"....*heavy Chinese accent* "Roger that departure, hold short of Delta"..."China Air are you even listening HOLD SHORT OF MIKE-ALPHA"... yea it gets interesting. I shouldn't pick on China Air tho.. the American pilots are even more out of it most of the time. And JFK ground crew is just ridiculous... It's really funny when they fight with the French pilots. One of them was like "JFK Tower where would you like me to go"...."Well, I'd prefer you in Paris, but I guess for now you can hold short on Juliette"... poor pilots >.<
One time they had to declare an emergency because an Alitalia (French Airways) that was carrying toxic chemicals thought they smelled something funny and thought it was a chemical spill. So 3 hours later they finally get the plane landed, get the ground crews there, and find out that in actuality it was just the onions that they were also shipping and not a chemical spill at all xD True story.
Anyway I love listening to Air Traffic Control. Cuz you know... I am a nerd like that! Sorry for the super long post! And I will definitely have to check out that radio show.
And you know in all honesty I wouldn't be surprised if while I was listening to JFK ATC they actually did have an otter on the flight deck. One time there was a cat on the runway... that was interesting.
Btw, if you type in "Boston John ATC" or just "Funny ATC" into YouTube you can hear some pretty awesome stuff, but I still prefer to listen to it live because you never know what you're gonna get xD

WOW! You really remind me of one of the characters, he would find ATC really interesting to listen to also. XD But if you find that funny, you would really enjoy Cabin Pressure! It's very well researched unlike a lot of other airplane...drama...things, and it's really funny. They put some funny people on ATC also, haha.
