Description          *MY FIRST LAPIDOT SUBMISSION IN DEVIANT ART!

         First Octascratch and now Lapidot. I mean, with Octascratch I'm not convinced that Octavia was the more 'out of control' of the two, and it's still also not confirmed that Lapis is truly the silent and serious type. She (Lapis) just looked extreeeeeeemly tired in those leaks. (Peridot is however confirmed to be a misunderstood cute little kitten devil nerd, too precious for this world, my child who has a narcissistic tendency but relatable and still adorable nonetheless.) We fans are just being too eager again.

When Gems fuse in this show, it doesn't always mean they are dating right? I mean, They could be friends and fuse/?

Nah, it doesn't always mean they are dating. But Fusion is largely compared to be like a relationship  whether it be familial, platonic, romantic, or even that is connected by hatred. The more compatible or the healthier their relationship is, the better/the more humanoid their fusion looks. (Although, as we've seen so far with the Rubies, it seems standard that Gems fusing with the same Gem just look like a giant version of them. )

So, yeah, of course they can fuse even as just friends.
