I went to Walt Disney World in my teens, as part of a bus tour years ago.
I read that during the 1960's, it was Disneyland that made the money for Disney when the animation biz wasn't doing too well.

Actually California might have a chance of reopening theme parks (including disneyland) by at least early August. They may just put distancing and sanitation measures in place, since it counts as Phase 4 of the reopening plan.
