Sadly, the picture I could take of this one isn't too great, either. But I guess that's about as good as It's gonna get for this piece. Shiny scratchboards really are a pain to photograph. But they're fun to work on.
Anyway, this is another piece for the EF Artshow. And believe me when I tell you that you really want to see the real thing, it looks so much better in real life than it does on this photo.

Would a scanner work on a scratchboard such as this?

Sadly, it won't. I tried it several times but it never worked. It works for simple black-and-white scratchboards, but something about the shiny ones just won't let the scanner do its job properly. >.<

This is a delightfully playful piece. Having whimsical Salvador Dali feel. What ever may occour next she will wake up with a smile on her face and in her heart.
