I post on MW whenever I feel like it, usually right after or shortly after I draw it. With dA, I try to update once a week (Tuesday); lets me choose the best drawing(s) of the week and keeps the clutter down.
Up until about three years ago, I didn't draw a lot. Updating dA weekly was something I started to keep my productivity up. Regardless of how unmotivated I was, I would force myself to scribble something to update with every week.
