The Mauser c-96 is my favorite pistol... possibly ever. And so, in a fit of artistic ballyhoo brought on from an unexpected illness, I knocked this piece out.Related content

These guns crop up everywhere ~ one of the local museums has one that was used in the Irish revolution, Micheal Collins owned one as did Countess Markievicz

Me too, Crimson.Β Was always my favorite.Β Especially the later variants where you can combine the full auto lower half with the top piece chambered for .45ACP.

nice!!! A friend of mine, was going to give me his grandfathers Mauser collection. His grand dad, verbally willed them to me. 15 c-96! even the c-96 carbine!! But, the in-laws rapped the house even before grand dad was planted... really sad. Liked his grand-dad too! Lots of ww1 stuff too, even Imperial Russian Medals, and orders... thankfully, I manged to get some of them when he gave them to me!!
