Even if you don't like the colour blue (I do though), you're right that it is a good one for this piece. I really like the texture in it. I think most everything I want to say has already been said, but it is an awesome piece of art. It makes me wish I knew something, anything, about 3d art.

Really nice render here. The brushwork style is very well suited for the style, but it seems to gradually de-centralize itself from the render as it moves upwards. Maybe you could've just blurred everything as gradually approaching the top to give a sense of depth, but thats just me. Great work!

I would have blurred certain parts of the brushing where the waving looks a bit linear but it doesn't take from the piece at all. It gives a great sense of perspective and the highlights are nicely applied. The render is very interesting as well.

I love the wavy brushing and perspective, I am just not too sure about the brushing in the bottom right corner, it seems a bit out of place.
This reminds me of Digital Shock (Anbuxitachi) 's old stuff.

Fantastic piece. I think I will flip it 90 degrees clockwise and resize it to 1280x800 for my laptop. The colors are amazing. I wish I could do work like this.
