I never had a use for Core, anyway. Someone gave me Core once (which was nice) but never used it. So...
But yes Core with Eclipse is pretty much pointless, now

I'm now giving a chance for Eclipse. It's still a beta, so I think they may still improve it. But yes, I agree with that. They shouldn't had removed html. I customized my old profile in Eclipse with gifs, but gosh, it was much more easy to include pictures before with html. And I didn't even need a core for that.

Core members won't renew their paid membership, because it will be totally useless in eclipse.
Money doesn't grow on the trees, (as far as I know).
But the dA team lives in a different world, out of touch of the real world ......
