i dun even know how to categorize this...well
RHYS!!! he arrived yesterday and i've been playing with him all the time~♥
and surprisingly i also got a small doll as well =O for free! she was naked, but i already sewed her a wig and made up some facepaint and painted her wings XD

oooh <3 yes he is a great sculpt! and he also was my first doll! the only thing about him im not so happy with, is his weak legs. they tend to fold all the time when you try to make him stand... i should tighten up his strings xD bt except tgat, he is totally worth the purchase! <3

and don't worry, There will be many pics. I will even be filming when i get/open him, xD and my non-bjd friend will be with me! oh gosh, that'll be weird lol
and yeah, i know a few ppl that said he tends to be an ass and not stand all the time.
o, and the best part is, I'll be ordering the fullset, but i can't decide on the skin tone. any suggestions?

i ordered normal yellow skin and i'm pretty happy with that! His skin is a little darker than "normal yellow" from other companies, and i think it looks more lifelike XD
about the fullset.. well i ordered the fullset myself back then.. but actually the only thing i am still using are his shoes.. in personal the fullset clothes don't look as great as on the promo-pictures.. and to be honest: his wig sucks! it doesn't really fit his head, so you will have to use a wigcap.. and it's also kinda hard to style, cause it's slightly curly.
If you really dig his promo-clothes, take the fullset, but for me it more or less was a waste of money u,u

well my personal favourite is Ninodoll Bada! but unless you want to wait really long, until ninodoll opens preorders again, you shouldn't get him XD it was a superlucky coincidenc i got him! XDD
i also love Dollshe Saint! don't let the original face-up fool you, with the right face-up he's the sexiest doll in the world! i still wanna get him some day, but right now, i'm happy with my boys..
the other doll i have is a Dikadoll Summer.. he's pretty, but not really special to me XD
... saint and bada are more or less my only drugs XD

as a DA member ive always come across these types of dolls but ive always been curious, do you simply buy them? or
can you also make one on your own?

many peoplke make their own dolls, usually with wire and strings and polymer clay.
but most people don't really do that much of a great job to be honest XD
you can buy them from several big companies such as dollzone (which i have this one from), but they are very expensive. The cheapest are around 300$ i guess.. and the wait is really long, cause they make the dolls after preorder. But they are worth it! XD

... and the little girl-doll is much easier to pose, cause she's so small.. XD
