Hello there.
Thank you for featuring my photograph in what is a wonderful collection of images to look at. It is very humbling. Sossusvlei in Namibia is one of the greatest places on earth and I plan on visiting again in October 2010. I plan on doing an HDR range of images and will post them on DA. Thank you again. Lourens

This is what photography is all about. When all the elements meet, stunning view, light and shadows, clouds that make a great design and a photographer that sees it and knows what to do with it. Great shot!

it was about 27 degrees celcius at time of imaging at roughly 9am. of course this shot was taken during winter time in he southern hemisphere. it gets way hotter in summer of course

Wow, this is beautiful, somehow the desolation makes it even better. Colours are fantastic vibrant and lively even though the only life is in that solitary little nest and the sun-blackened trees. 'tis amazing truly.
