A bit more of digital colouring practice, I'm liking Sai a lot : >Doing these kind of things with pencils can be a pain in the ass ._. so I thought I'd try digital one more time to play a bit with night colors and some light and such.
(Err.. for some people, don't worry I'm still using my pencils a lot, maybe I'll submit something later)...
Now I'll go back working on commissions.
Christmas is just around the corner fffffffffff-

Hi Pyromaniac,
My (very shy) daughter, Xiao, loves Night sky and the City. So do I. In fact, the kid in the picture reminds me of her.
She asked if I could make a quilt for her that uses your art as the quilt top. She wants it for her personal use only in her college room, will not sell it, display it or enter it in any contest. I told her I would help her make it if we had your permission to use your art.
This would be her process: she would enlarge the picture by drawing it on butcher paper (not projecting it, just freehand), then use the paper drawing as a pattern to cut out the silhouettes from fabric, adding Lumiere fabric paint to achieve luminosity. The painted pieces would be machine appliqued to a background fabric, then sewed on top of batting and a quilt back with freehand quilting to finish the quilt. This very ambitious project would be her first quilt. She is quite artistic, so I am thinking she will be proud when finished.
I would very much appreciate your permission to proceed. Please let us know your wishes.

About that, all I can say is just... but of course! It's totally okay with me and, in fact, how can I say no when someone really liked one of my illustrations. I hope I'm not responding too late though.
All I would request, is that I'd love to see it when she finally does it : ) I think it would be great.
