What a stunning series. The subjects have a sometimes-endearing, sometimes-frightening awkwardness about them. The way you have layered the images (sorry, don't know the technical photo term for what you are doing), implies that there are always emotions just below the surface. And you've made that surface very flat, so it is all the more visible. Wow.
