Des visages sans traits? Mais bien sur, la foule est souvent sans traits, parce qu'on ne les voit pas.

maybe that's how i prefer the crowd. indifferent.
i only hate when it is overwhelming.Β  they seem hostile even when they're not.

it becomes a life of its own
so many parts in chaos, yet seemingly acting in unison

in unison, crowd are evil. that has been seen so many times.Β  the horde effect as i see it, they become animals.

Growing up in a suburb of Los Angeles, I remember the fear when riots occurred even though they were a few miles away. I had been chased many times by gangs down alleys and dark streets, even jumping into bushes to hide from them as they drove by.
But our violence does not have the political facade as the one you face in your life, something difficult for me to completely comprehend…how thoughts and beliefs can polarize so many to violent acts.

partiallyHere In reply to Markus43 [2014-03-29 10:01:05 +0000 UTC]

and weirdly we are always afraid of the kind of violence we're not used to.
it feels to me like if it were impossible to live in a gang environment, so frightening. and yet, here i am, living among possible death every day and considering it a "regular" life

our conversation took us to another place. at the origin (the title, the whole idea) i was talking about society, the others as one repulsive entity to me. my alienation, once again.

Originating from your inner person maybe, sometimes...perhaps many times without thought, but a reactive reflex
