that is the nice part about making your own stuff you totally can fix it or change it when you get board or you can just love it i'm working on a new sporran with borough detailing iv not seen any like this but it seemed logical that it would be cool to have shoe's and sporran that matched i ordered a borough boot last in my size custom so i can make the shoe's to match i think im going to do them with Norwegian welts even more water proof then Good Year welts all with Borough finishes matching belt and sporran belt too i think its going to be pretty stunning look
i have been doing the punches all afternoon its looking great all post a picture when its done if you want to check it out

I saw the pics of the sporran you posted, it looks really cool. I was trying to figure out how you did the fold over edge on the top flap, it was well executed and the lines are really clean.

o cheated on that its a 1.5mil thick strip of Kidd leather folded wet then glued with a vary strong flexibal leather past then burnished to a crisp finish.
that is not the sporran im working on that was the prototype the new on has some changes to make it more stylish and a bit more practical changed the position of the buckle i am doing better stitches too i love the hole lasted affect you get with wet molding leathers
