Awesome! I have one piece of crucial advice for you - NEVER-EVER lend your camera for someone else to use. No, it's not because it might get damaged or anything along those lines, it's more of it being your very personal and private tool, not anyone else's. You wouldn't let anyone use your toothbrush, would you? Okay, bad example. The point of it is that once you get it back, it might not feel like yours at all. It would feel like a piece of equipment everyone has had a go with, it's got the sweat and smell of work of other people on it and so on.
Why am I telling you this? I got the same advice when I first got my camera (Canon 400D)and a few friends wanted to borrow it for a few pictures here and there. Of course I was rather sceptical and thought it was bollocks, so I lent it happily. When I got it back, it didn't feel like my previous camera at all, I didn't recognize it. The way it stood in my hand, the way the pictures and colours looked, some of the scratches here and there (always happens). It totally killed my photography life because my camera wasn't no longer the extension for my mind. It's quite similar to what I learned in the army - it's your rifle, and your rifle only. There are many like it, but this one's yours with all it's quirks, perks, and flaws.
Long story short: I know it's a state of mind mostly, but it's a very disturbing one at that. This has single handedly killed creativity with my camera or even the urge to pick it up. I'm actually rather avoiding contact with it at all, even thought I promised myself I'd make amends, clean it up, update the software, adjust the settings to my preference, and take it as my own once again.

I love this photo a lot, you always seem to know how to perfectly make a photo (no matter how simple the image), feel very emotional.
