Sid Vicious died of a herione overdose 25 years ago tomorrow (October 22nd, 1979)Just showing appreciation for the best bass player in the history of punk music.

He was fucking badass punk image for the sex pistols...but best bass player ever? He couldn't play it, and they had to unplugg his bass basically every show because he was so horrible. He was there because he embodied the image and attitude of punk down to a tee.

i love sid but unfortunatley he didn'ț know to play the bass. usualy the guys from the band were switching off his guitar cuz he was a horrible bass player

i love that poem, i was really surprised when i read it that he wrote it, its sort of..out of character. i think its prolly true but i know he loved her. and obviously the fact he killed himself afterwards is a clue

i dunno. from what i've read and from johhny rottens book it seems that sid was in love with nancy but she did introduce him to drugs so i guess your friend is right. nobody really knows for sure

yeah it is nice, makes a change from everyone knowing what they were like, they had something only they knew.
