This is awesome! I especially love that the owl is white, but the rodent is black. The curved hill, the way his feet show that he is sitting just a little behind it, and the angled-outward trees, they all really contribute to the effect of the "camera" being low and looking up. The scattering of debris on the ground - it matches the rest of the picture, but isn't distracting. I also really like how you did the branches of the trees and chose for both the leaves and trunk to be white. The dark underside of the leaves really allows both the trunks and leaves to pop; it makes it look like the moonlight is shining down on the leaves. You can imagine what this scene would look like in a real photo. Also, the owl really does look like he's looking at the rodent, not the viewer.

Yeah the fish and bird patterns are my favourite of his. I love the negative space which actually are another image like with your work. Their is another modern artist who does things which remind me of M C Escher called Nora Bar.
