Ibara Kasen from the Touhou Project taken at Katsucon 2013 by Donna L Photography [link] I can't get over how beautiful and vibrant all the colors and how pretty she makes me look! I'm so glad she was able to brave the cold with me for these beautiful shots. Can't get enough of that reflection.Hand embroidered all the leaves on this baby. Drew them all out with pencil and then filled them in over a few months watching multiple seasons of desperate housewives and all the lotr movies multiple times. Pretty pleased with how the sleeves on the blouse came out as well. The mummy arm thing turned out pretty good aside from losing feeling in my arm gradually XD

My girlfriend cosplays this character as well...but we can't for the life of us figure out how to feisably do the arm wrapping. How'd you do yours or do you have any tips on how to do hers?

Get a white glove and sew strips into the seam. I looked at a few tutorials people had for being mummies!

I hope so, especially at Otakuthon! There will be a lot of Touhou panels and events this year, and for the occasion I'm planning to make a nice over-the-top version of Shou, and maybe another Touhou cosplay on Friday too... if you're still coming, let's plan this carefully. ^^

I am but I'm not sure which cosplay I plan on bringing... Really depends on space and such, I have so many Touhous XD Started on my new Reimu today too!
