Description
I went to the Fort Worth Stockyards while in Texas to see the cattle drive. I was a little disappointed that they cattle were not running through the streets but when it was what I called a "walking drive" it made it easier to get clearer pictures. And I got to meet and talk to one of the cowboys in this picture.Related content

They were really long!! I can just imagine the damage they could do with them. I did see some at the rodeo but their horns were dulled so they could not cause as much damage.

Thanks for your comments!! It was neat to see it. It would have been even neater had they been stampeding down the street!! I would love to go to a real cattle drive some day. I never thought I would ever go to a rodeo but was able to go to one while in Texas so maybe this dream will come true, too!!

I have some that I want to post from the Mesquite Rodeo in Texas but have not had the time yet. I think after being at a live rodeo I think you have to be crazy to get on a bull or bucking broco!!

I tell my husband, Bob, that they must be born crazy to put their bodies through that torment. I am trying to get my rodeo pictures sized so I can post a few.
