Description
The wind howled through the trees as Sollux approached his Matesprit's hive. The odd couple had planned an entire day together.
Movies, lunch, maybe the aquarium, the off to a nice fancy dinner, which of course Eridan was going to pay for. A faint smile
grew on the yellow-blood’s face as he approached the door, raising his hand to knock. He could remember when him and the handsome
sea-dweller didn't get along very well, and felt a bit odd recalling the fights they used to have. Throwing verbal and physical
punches. Sollux was shocked they were in the red quadrant and not the black one. He shrugged mentally and watched, smile growing
as Eridan opened the door.
"Hey Sol" Eridan said, grinning. The nickname that used to infuriate Sollux, now left butterflies in his stomach. Not that
he'd ever tell Eridan that. He casually leaned on the door frame of the broken ship, grinning a toothy, fanged grin.
"Thup babe." Eridan laughed at Sollux's attempt at being smooth and stepped aside, motion for Sollux to come in. Sollux
stepped inside and plopped down on the couch. Eridan walked off to another room, as usual, the violet-blood wasn't ready yet.
Sollux gazed out the window as he waited for his matesprit to announce he was ready, and quickly noticed water drizzling down the
windows of the hive, followed by a small flash. Seconds later, a huge boom echoed through the skies. he sighed dramatically and
looked over at the door way Eridan disappeared into to find him standing there with a disappointed look on his face. Sollux walked
over, kissing Eridan on the forehead and wrapping his arms around the droopy troll.
"Wwhat are we gonna do noww?" Eridan asked with a sad tone. Sollux smiled and picked him up, setting him on the couch before
walking off. Eridan sat in confusion as he waited for Sollux to return, watching the rain drops hit the window outside and listening
to the rhythmic sound, which was occasionally interrupted by the loud thunder. The storm sounded pretty close. Sollux came walking
back in with a few movies, and some snacks. Eridan smiled and took the snacks and Sollux walked over, putting in a movie and then sat
down on the couch next to Eridan, putting an arm around him. Eridan responded by Snuggling up to Sollux. The to sat there for a good
couple of hours, just listening to the rain, paying more attention to each other than the movie.
"Sol?" Eridan finally spoke up, looking up at Sollux. Sollux 'hmmm'd softly and looked down at Eridan, who's eyes were wide
with curiosity and worry. "You aren't still made about all those fights are you?" Eridan asked and Sollux chuckled, pulling the
purple eyed male closer.
"If i were, we wouldn't be matethprith" Sollux responded, kissing Eridan softly on the lips. Eridan smiled into the kiss,
rolling over on top of Sollux. "Fluthed for you, fith breath" Sollux murmured in between kisses.
"Flushed for you too, piss blood" Eridan said warmly and Sollux laughed. Maybe there was still a little bit of a sharp air
between them.

And then they fricked.

windows of the hive, followed by a small flash. Seconds later, a huge boom echoed through the skies. he sighed dramatically and
looked over at the door way Eridan disappeared into to find him standing there with a disappointed look on his face. Sollux walked
over, kissing Eridan on the forehead and wrapping his arms around the droopy troll.
"Wwhat are we gonna do noww?" Eridan asked with a sad tone. Sollux smiled and picked him up, setting him on the couch before
