Yorick is a character in William Shakespeare's play Hamlet. He is the dead court jester whose skull is exhumed by the gravedigger in Act 5, Scene 1, of the play. (Yorick often considers himself the jester of all the trolls, referring to his love for plays and drama. It also connects, again, to his skeleton obsession)

Dioedi is a mixture of Dionysus, the god of grape harvest, winemaking, and wine, of ritual madness, fertility, theatre and religious ecstasy in ancient Greek religion and myth(referring to his grape-coloured purple blood, his love for alcohol, gambling, and plays.) And Samedi, a loa of the dead, which also reflects Yorick's weird love and obsession with skeletons, curses, and black magic.
