(Sorry for not updating in a while, I have professional work to come first! Holy crap...)Out of all the endings in EC, Slash's seemed to be the most realistic, as it mimics actual history.
Note his advanced ideas include bureaucracy and typewriters.Characters © SOA, reeto.

People always say that Blade's the most important character to save since the virus from his time would kill 95% of the population...but nobody every questions how important Slash's ending really is.
I mean, world peace and United Nations right off the bat? That's kind of a biggie.

I have a feeling there are two different timelines in the game: one where Slash dies and the rest of history is 'normal', and one where Slash lives by virtue of magic, then history is 'fantastical'.

Well that goes for all the Champions...'cept for Ramses. I don't know where "Ancient Egypt conquers the World a'la Empire of the Rising Sun" fits in the timeline.

I love Slash (He's like my 2nd. fav. character 
I think it goes without saying I love the speech characteristics you gave him. Makes him sound smart without being out of character. Definitely A LOT better than how the comics portrayed him 85% of the time (Though the line "Shut mouth, Blade! Or me get primitive with you!" kills me everytime. X,DDD).

Loved the comics and Jon Haward's work on them too: we've been chatting via Blogspot a while back and I added him as a friend on Facebook, to give that extra stalker-ish feel.

The comics are indeed a fun and entertaining read. Sure the dialogue was pretty...laughable half the time, but the art and panel layouts more than made up for that.

As an aside, I really like the way Slash is drawn in the first panel (looks very, yes, intelligent).
