finally got around to colouring this. had the idea while i was in New Zealand to do a series of non-conventional pairings with Disney characters. i'm sure it's been done, but this is just a bit of fun distraction...plus i'm counting it as work on backgrounds and colour palettes. so actually working on my task list! hah...Nakoma from Pocahantas and Kenai from Brother Bear both belong to Disney.
coloured pencils, sharpies, promarkers, 2 hours at the most.

How sweet. Kenai lays in Nakoma's lap and he's smiling at her. She's rubbing his shoulder and touching his chest. Maybe she'll run her fingers through his hair next.

This is beautiful. I love the difference that using markers on the characters and pencil crayons for the backgorund has. They look so peaceful together. Great work!
