Personality:
Eien is generally happy-go-lucky, and wouldn't hesitate to share a joke he heard this morning or listen to your stories heartily. More often than not, he would try to be cool which makes him seem like a try hard slash being dorky (however he does have his cool moments). Eien tends to be aggressive when something triggering happens and would make sure to resolve it, especially towards protecting the things he loves, hence he is quite protective. Eien is also a softie. He would appear firm at first, but he would soon remove that facade and be gentle. Eien is also quite a hard worker, though it doesn't show in his academic life or most of his endeavors (more to be mentioned in History). The reason why he is able to push on with all these setbacks is because of his hopeful nature. Despite all the imperfections in his life, Eien is a perfectionist, which explains why he is so uncomfortable in his skin. He tries to control his emotions to appear as he would like which doesn't really work out. He is extremely insecure with himself, hence why he tries so hard to change the many parts of himself. He can't help but scrutinise the bad parts of himself. To add on, he isn't one to share his emotions easily, bearing the misconception that it makes you weak. Hence, he bottles up, including the self-loathing he has towards himself for whatever that has happened, which is quite a burden on him. He is extremely adamant sometimes, which causes him trouble when it comes to trying to reach a compromise. Eien has a frightening temper. When he explodes, he doesn't know how to control the wrath and the aftermath tends to be quite destructive. Lastly, Eien can be quite naive. His ability to discern or make a stand isn't very good and quite often it leads to much regrets.

History:

Eien has never been the most outstanding in whatever endeavors he was involved in. He was a hard worker but half the time that characteristic never paid off. The way his peers excelled in what they did made him envious yet sad. He knew he could never be as good. He wasn't extraordinary at anything. Singing, drawing, writing, studying and etc. What he really wanted was to be proud of himself for something. As a child, he had grown up being compared to his peers by his parents. His results were average despite how much he tried. His hard work only worked enough to allow him to graduate from high school. It always hurt him how unfair this world worked, how the talent always won over hard work.

Feeling inferior and wronged, he grew up as an angry teenager. He always retaliated to his parents' harsh words and regretted it afterwards. There was even a period of time in his life it got so bad, it drove him into this rebellious phase. He hated coming home and well he did a bunch of silly things which added to his list of regrets. Whenever people disregarded or laughed at him, he felt something in him died a little. He craved validation and eventually developed the mindset that sharing your feelings is equivalent to being weak and hardly tries to do so anymore.

This rebellious point did mitigate him to do drastic things. His parents were blessed with the ability of creation while he wasn't. Why was he not born with it, was a question he has always asked since young. It didn't help that he felt inferior and this lack of ability just made it worse. Furthermore, seeing how his schoolmates would fool around with their ability, it made him jealous. He thought to himself, how strange it is that the one thing that could've made him feel special and was supposed to be attainable, wasn't even given to him.

Eien was 18 when he approached RAID, upon hearing how it is possible to attain such abilities through artificial means. If I can't be one, I can imitate, He carelessly thought to himself. Before Eien had started on the pills, his parents confronted Eien. They understood the risks and how dangerous the world was right now. In fact, they were glad that Eien wasn't even born with such an ability for he would be in a precarious situation. They were afterall standing on the neutral side. Eien was put in a turmoil as to whether to listen to his parents. However, before he could make a decision, something horrific happened to his parents.

It was a Thursday afternoon, Eien was in class, zoning out, looking at the summer sky, when he heard the district's emergency alarm being sounded, followed by the school's emergency alarm. Everyone evacuated their classrooms and assembled in the school field. It was a state of confusion. Eien didn't get what was going on. When all the mess has cleared and the situation was declared to be safe, he saw teachers and various humans approaching various students. They all had one similarity and that was that they always either end up in tears or have a really pained expression. In his mind, Eien was connecting the dots. When his form teacher approached him, he felt the dread building up. He was told that his father and mother were gravely injured, his father in a coma and his mother suffering from grave injuries. Apparently, what had happened was a BLANK ambush and his parents were one of their targets. Something told him that it was because of his interaction with RAID that caused this.

The following months were painful for him, for he saw his mother struggling to function for she had lost her abilities to walk, and his father was in a vegetative state. Eien didn't even had to think anymore. He wanted to hurt BLANK for their idiotic ideologies that landed his parents in this state. Unworthy? What a load of crap. He took the first pill 'L' when he was nearly 19 and is working full-time as a child care teacher. At this point of his life, loss has eaten away at his passion in finding something to be proud of. He just wanted to destroy BLANK.

✧Eien often questions his parents choice of his first name. He doesn't mind that it is Japanese but he minds the difficult pronounciation of it which he has to explain to people with exasperation.

✧His mother is Japanese, his father is American. He is fluent in english and only knows basic japanese.

✧Natural hair colour is brown
