Tea Table Rock overlook

A beautiful day at Letchworth State Park back in September.

Many years ago and long before my time, there was a large flat rock formation in the vicinity, jutting out over the gorge. It was apparently quite the place for the fine ladies to gather for tea parties. The rock is long gone but the name remains. I often start here or pass through on a hike along Letchworth Trail 1.
