i feel like this would be an awesome fanfic...just have Gandalf take the good morning as bilbo wasn't going to kill them and thus he had to get the dwarrow their fast so he wouldn't change his mind and then when the dwarfs arrive they think bilbo is a servant or something for the true master of the house that will either kill them or help them and so they treat him accordingly...ergo ignore his orders, play around with his dishes and food and so on, and they just figure they will clean everything up before their host gets there, bilbo of course is quitely contemplating where he is going to bury the dwarrow in his garden for perfect fertilizer and without disrupting his garden to much because they are rather large bodies to be hiding, and then their leaders shows up and shit hits the fan fast

Haahaaha ok now all I can picture is the dwarves showing up all like "aw but he's just a wee fellow, no harm-" and thorin's like "NOPE we do not trust the hobbit he's probably secretly a vicious killer he could snap at any moment holy shit watch your backs dudes k" so the whole time everyone's just mincing around bilbo looking absolutely terrified and he's just confused as hell xD

I knew it! Bilbo had atwisted side to him. Lucky drawves are lucky, that he had his breakfast and a good pipe the morning or thing might have gone ugly in the night. (not to mention their secret weapon: awesome bass singing voices)
