I actually have all of the static designs for the first 5 generations of starters sitting on my PC that I drew a couple of years back, whenever I can't be bothered doing proper art I'll probably just turn them into icons and call it a day

Not sure what you mean exactly, but I draw everything in Flash so they're vector images, then I can upsize and downsize them as I please without the image being lossy.

100 Ease on frame 1, 9 and 17
-100 Ease on frame 5 and 13
The rest comes down to what you draw and how you tween them

For the record, I mentioned Frame 17 because it's the frame that lets your last pose on Frame 13 go back to the original pose on Frame 1, but since that would cause a double-up by showing the same pose for 2 frames you instead exclude Frame 17 in post-production and only have it show 16 in total.
