Personality: Silent and loyal, you never quite know what's going through his mind....
History: Nigel is a quiet but honest man. It's unlikely he'll speak unless spoken to, his most common phrase being "....yes m'lady.". He is proper and calm, following around Duchesse at all times, he sees himself as a father figure to Duch in all honesty. Frankly he did most of raising of the llama when her father hardly could. He was there to change her diapers, he was there to monitor when she first started to try out new hobbies, and he was there to calm her down when she froze on stage. He was originally a poor goat, just narrowly avoiding living on the streets. One day he stumbled into Duchesse's father, he quickly apologized and continued his way home. It was only until he realized that a rich man in the part of town they were in was VERY dangerous for him, and managed to stop him from going into a dark and suspicious ally. He lead him to a safer path and became acquaintances. After some chatting on their way home, the father learned that Niegel was a chef, or, at least one that just got fired. He invited Nigel to his home to cook, to which the goat agreed. The next day he cooked some dinner for the father and his wife, to which they were delighted! He started visiting more afterwards, and eventually was hired to be a cook for the household. Time passed and he became close friends to Duchesse's father and mother. But once Duchess was born and the mother.......'walked out of the picture' to put it lightly, the father started becoming more cold and invested all his time into his business. Nigel watched as the man he once knew faded away into a broken man, and took it upon himself to watch over his daughter. From then on he had considered himself the father his friend could never be. He was the first one to help Duchesse move out, and now lives with her, doing chores and helping her understand the life lessons she never could learn at her old home. He writes letters to her father once every week, in hopes that perhaps he'll visit, but deep down he knows.....that is very unlikely.

Other: Though it may not be apparent, Nigel is not afraid to protect Duchesse at all costs......every action he does is in the best interest for her.
