i love this so much! but i cant help but wonder why you titled it 'taoist'? the very fact that she seems so aggressive with her katana (or whatever samurai sword it is you depicted) seems contradictory to the core. it's interesting.

Wonderful natural lighting. Very warm colors... but the bright and cold reflection on the blades is a nice touch. You have a talent for giving your characters a living presence, as though they are vunerable even if they are heavily armed.
My only complaint is that we haven't seen more of your work!
