I wanted to convey the decline of general social concern, and the rise of materialism, hate, violence, and sex in our generations young people. This piece is a representation of the gritty reality that plagues our lives each day, in a single, to-the-point, moving, and most of all, emotionally provocative image.

It is, in a sense, a 2-in-1 sort of artowrk whereas the image you see is what "is", but burns an image of what "could have been" into the minds eye.

It wasn't easy. I nearly weeped while mustering up the emotional strength to portray my deepest feelings into this piece. It is difficult to put so much hate, but also so much love onto "paper", so to speak. But i did it, and boy, what a feeling.
