I'm trying, but at this moment I don't know why I should draw. I dream about drawing scenes from real life, not copying photos, but I have experience shortages and reluctance to practise. Bad circle.

you have a mighty talent, my friend....don't sell yourself short.....try setting up your own interesting subjects, photograph them, and work from your own photos....soon, you will discover that you are adding to, and subtracting from, those photos....you will discover a new freedom, and will obtain a strong sense of self- assuredness that will allow you to truly blossom...you have the talent, fire up your imagination, and soar.......you will go far....

Do you ever studied drawing?

i'm entirely self-taught....i set up each drawing i do....i make models, use found objects.....anything will do.....then i photograph the scene....and i work from the model and from the photograph...try it....

What's your motivation? The finishing time, the result, customers? What are you doing for living?

i do sell my work...it is my vocation......they sell from between 2,000 and 6,000 dollars......they generally take me two to four months to complete.... motivation....that's a good question.....it's a compulsion....an addiction....something i must do.....and you can , too...

Maybe you will find it funny, but I'm still looking "drawing style" which will make me satisfied during drawing proccess, not only at the end. How much time it took to you before you reached actual "style"?

my "style has changed several times over the last 35 years......i have been doing only graphite drawings for 6 or 7 years now... before that i did color pencil landscapes.....

Just find good art school and learn. My drawings are worthless copies of photos. It's not real drawing. Go to school and use your imagination.
