Pot Belly stove in the general store at the Heritage Park of East Texas in Edgewood, TX

Scott's General store was built in 1926 on the Scott Farm (north of Edgewood). The store provided groceries and supplies to sharecroppers.

The Heritage park is a full city block in the downtown area of Edgewood, TX with a collection of historic buildings from the area's history. Some of the buildings had markers and information on them, however, my visit was about 2 years ago and I don't have the history of many available to me any more. I do plan to return in the near future so I can get more pictures and some history of each building on the site.
