Description
Happy Easter, everybody!
So I wanted to draw this character from the Easter special "The First Easter Egg" from 1997.
If you're not familiar with Perennial Pictures, it's an animation company that did a few holiday specials during the 1980s and 1990s. I've actually watched a few of these that were on tape and when it used to be on Freeform (during the time it was Fox Family). This was the first one I watched as a kid as my mom and grandmother got this on one of the Easters when I was either 4 or 5.
So this special was how the Easter Egg was made, when One Rabbit wanted to give something to her mother. He got an egg from a kind hen, but he had to deal with a lot of trouble, such as a weasel trying to swindle him and later a flamingo who painted it pink, which was how One decided to paint it and his mother loved it.
You can buy it digitally from Amazon, but you don't want to buy it, you can watch it free here.
