beautiful image, big sur is so completely sureal and you've definetly captured it beautifully in this photo.. Excellent shot, i've set it as my background desktop and i hope you don't mind, i'm from that area and it reminds me so much of home. More sky would have been nice, but I dunno...I like the fact that it goes against the grain in that way. I would say, however, that it seems to be missing some definition...maybe a bit of camera shake? I dunno. Very nice all the same.

Awesome pic. I'm a Monterey/Carmel fan, and I had only recently discovered the beauty of Big sur recently. Mainly through the gallery of Robert Knight in Carmel. I agree that Big Sur just has something special about it. Maybe later I'll be able to go and take some pics that are as good as yours.

The tide rolls in. There are so many waves breaking in this, so many tiny rocks, so many reflections of sun, so much action.
The people off in the distance are probably accidental, but I really like them. Gives the place just that much more life.
