Kyojin, 15 years, female.That pair of Japanese cloth slippers (nuno zori) she is so enjoying were hand-woven by my sister.
Looks like she is absorbing all the 气 qi (or chi) -- loosely translated as "energy" or "life force"

Our Katie Rose just turned 17, on 6th of May. Uploaded a photo of the event.
Doing okay, for living with kidney failure since JAN. of 2014.
Of course she has special food and I take her weekly for IV hydation fluids, but she has a lot of life left in her, so gotta support that, until she says otherwise.

Ahhh ... kidney issues! So many of ours succumbed to that ... just like humans, that is the usual old-age health issue.
Many. many years ago, when one of our senior ones started having kidney issues, our vet taught us to do sub-cutaneous hydration, but we have never tried to learn IV - that's too scary! But for most of our kidney patients, the subcutaneous was adequate, thankfully.
How is your Katie Rose now? Has she lost a lot of weight? Our kidney ones were always so thin at the end.
