HAPPY BIRTHDAY MYSTERY SKULLS ANIMATED GHOST!

This picture--oh, I am just so HAPPY! It came out REALLY close to how I imagined it! Really it's only the background, and it's only because I couldn't quite figure out how to mimic the show, I mean, I still freaking adore this background--it's just--oh my freaking gosh--THIS FANDOM! I can't draw, but when it comes to this fandom--these characters...I somehow pull it off. Of course, I thank for being EXTREMELY patient with me, looking over things, catching errors, and just being all around helpful. Trust me, without her, some of this glory would have not made it in.

I also thank for catching some stuff before Thil got a look at it. XD And for watching me as I worked so that a few things were caught on the spot.

And last not not least, for giving a few extra shading tips before I began. All three of these people are awesome, and you should totally check out what they've got! Go click on their pictures!

I had the idea for this picture for some time actually, but had no clue how to execute it, but when October came around, I realized it would be the perfect way to celebrate Mystery Skull's birthday as it would have ALL the characters, from Lewis to Galahad~ So, I gave it a shot, and well...it took the whole month. XD I literally just got it done on the upload date. 26th. With less than 12 hours to spare. It didn't help that I originally thought I had until the 29th, so a few days I needed disappeared, but I was stubborn, determined, and a good bit of insane, so I pulled it off...somehow.

For the record, since their personalities aren't set, I can't say these are accurate things they're saying to one another, and really, with Shiromori still a big mystery, I just had to guess. My theory for this picture is that they had to form a truce with Shiromori, so they're on the same side for the time being. I don't know, this was the best excuse I had to get them all into one picture.

That means that Duet's ghost eye, and the triplet's designs aren't canon. So Ginger, Lavender, and Vanilla's names and designs belong to me and

Duet's ghost eye head-cannon...the blue eye one belongs to me. XD I know some people have other ideas on a similiar premise.

As for Lewis and Mystery...I wanted to draw ALL the characters, but I really couldn't do Lewis's ghost and Mystery's kitsune form with their human and dog forms, so I tried to just do the best of both worlds.

Though really, the only text I originally had was Arthur's and Uncle Lance's, with Duet's being made later. All the others were on the fly basically.

And Duet had to of been my favorite to do out of all of these characters. Duet is just so AWESOME! I mean--it's just, I love how Duet is taking this whole thing in stride with Mrs. Pepper, and the face in Duet's speech bubble. Priceless. I LOVE how it came out. *_* How is this mine? I mean...no, I don't usually draw anywhere near this level.

MysteryBen, you contaminated my art abilities...I'm not actually complaining.

XD Soo, lots of black/white switches. *There was such a long battle with this, I give up, though at least I learned some things for the next time I do a speed paint*
