Description
A small break form the usual to revisit a bit of late horror (yes I know we are past Halloween). So earlier this month I showed off a portrait of HP Lovecraft, well around that same time I also drew his most famous creature Cthulu in the sketchbook. But unlike Lovecraft, I felt Cthulu needed a bit more work, so I kinda put him off a bit. This ultimately went from a simple drawing to crafting a scene with lots of effects. I really wanted to go for the whole monster in the mist look, with Cthulu mostly in shadow to create a more ominous sense of dread. Hope everyone likes it!
