The Tiger I was far too complicated to mass produce. In one town it was 56 Shermans vs 8 Tigers, 3 Tigers were lost and 54 Shermans were lost. But the M4 Sherman could be easily mass produced which is the reason why the Allies won the battle of Normandy. I can’t remember the name of the battle though I might be wrong. I’ll look it up.
