For the 100 themes challenge [link]Tonight I'm in the mood to draw Trunks... I think the problem between them is the lack of communication ... Well, Vegeta isn't the king of communication... But I still think that he's a better father than Goku, despite his awfull and selfish character!
I promise to draw Trunks more often, it deserves more than these little comics, in which I mistreat him.

I think this picture's very fitting to the theme you chose to illustrate, Neko. The relationship between Trunks and his father is very interesting in my opinion, ans surely well-represented by the word 'rejection', at least during Trunks' early years. Cool job!!

You´re right. I too think, he´s a much better father than Goku. He´s always there at least. And doesn´t leave he´s family cuz to....something else. ¬_¬
He surely is some kind of stern father and it´s not easy for Trunks, I guess, but still he cares 'bout his son. Also in his own way. I wouldn´t be surprised, when Trunks would be mad at his father sometimes, but that´s quite normal. In the end he loves his father and this tells a lot, doesn´t it?
I like Vegetas face here. He looks a little like he´s considering 'bout, what he should do with this stubborn boy. Helpless father? X`D

LOL! Sheesh, you going to have poor Trunks get his butt beat, too? That would actually be a hilarious comic. My bad. I'm evil, I know. I don't hit my own kid. Hee hee. But it would make for a funny comic. Trunks I mean. I like this pic, BTW.

I don't think that Vegeta is a better father than Goku. They both care for their children a lot. Vegeta took Trunks to the amusement park, and Goku took Gohan fishing when he was small. So I think they both are good fathers.

I'm sure this is realistically their relationship, after all, it took mirai trunks *dying* for vegeta to even acknowledge him as his son (we hope he learned something this time around, but hey!) hopefully they still have their good moments though!

I second your statement!LOL. Vegeta may not communicate (especially his feelings) but he has been shown to be a better father than Goku. I mean, he did supposedly take Trunks out to the amusement park or whatever when he went Super Saiyan and all that. So in my mind that means that Vegeta my not LIKE going out, but he will do things to keep his promise or perhaps to even appease some people. 
Aside from that, I think this is a good and emotional picture. I love that Trunks is trying not to cry (or at least that's how I'm seeing it) and Vegeta's just like "Suck it up, kid" expression.
