that is why I love to go on vacation to the middle of no-where, when the night sky is darker and the stars are brighter.. Pitty that the big city's ruin or star vieuw.....

haha, When I was in Sweden it was in the middle of summer, and quite north. It was even lighter than in a city at night
But I witnessed a simular thing on the island La palma, or in the south of france
The black black sky, and the milky way

Well, we have stars tonight ...somebody heard my complaints... and no snow (there was enough in december!) I hope tomorrow will be nice and cold and sunny! (Somebody should make you some snow glasses, so you could bath in the winter sun without hurting your eyes

I wear tinted UV protective polarized eyeglasses all the time, actually... it's NOT ENOUGH! The suuuunnnn, it burrrrrnnnnnssss my retinas!

I remember finding it very "strengious" to walk about the city in december with all the snow lying arround - funny stuff, it was just like living in a defective refrigerator. Nothing would melt, no matter what you spill over it

There is actually a tutorial online on how to convert welding/cyber goggles into infrared viewing goggles. It's epic, and I totally am going to make some one day. If you scroll through my favs, I have many examples of IR photography in there... goggles... so THAT is how you see things... IN REAL LIFE! Sooooooo cool! It says they are only good for use in bright sun. My problem.. solved (in the coolest way imaginable)

I would lke to do IR-photography one day, but it seems complicated - a optional IR-lens for my eyes - sure!! But can my psyche cope with it ... I guess not, I would be dragged to oooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo... away. har har... beam me up!
