A person is more than what meets the eye. S/he doesn't need to be what you think s/he is just by the first glance, s/he can have a world of thoughts, feelings, experiences that you might never know anything about. Don't judge someone on their appearance or something stupid they said. Give people a chance. They're worth it - most of the time.
