Created from 11 original images, my goal was to showcase some of the most famous sights of the lovely Hungarian capital, Budapest on a single photo. Looking south from the vantage point on Margaret Bridge ("Margit híd"), one can admire the elegant grace of the Parliament building ("Országház") on the left, look at the lights of the city's oldest permanent bridge, the Chain Bridge ("Lánchíd") spanning the magnificent river Danube ("Duna"), or behold the Royal Palace of Buda ("Budai királyi palota") crowning the hilltop on the right riverbank. Further to the right, the beautiful ensemble of two historical buildings, the Matthias Church ("Mátyás-templom") and the spired walls of Fishermen's Bastion ("Halászbástya") are bathed in decorative lighting. At centre-left, in the distance, the Citadelle and the Statue of Liberty ("Szabaság-szobor") shine their light from atop Gellért Hill ("Gellért-hegy").
