And perfect shot too as the horse is the un-sung hero of the building of this nation. They're smart and beautiful too as you point out.

Thank you!
You are absolutely right - horses are wonderful creatures
I'm glad that it seems as if I can picture them as I see them: beautiful, powerful but gentle...

It's true that we all live in a different universe. Where you and I and a few others see nothing but beauty...others see nothing at all. I love seeing the great things in life.

I hope you (and I and all the other wonderful people) will never ever lose the ability to see beauty

I live for the good things and doing good. I have to have money to eat, but otherwise I don't care about power, cash or fame that are gone so fast. I'm glad people like you still exist. thanks

Wonderful Appaloosa horse. The surroundings with the sunrays are marvellous. It makes the horse look supernatural.

Thanks! We've been lucky with the light and the location As I was looking through the viewfinder, seeing the sun shining through the trees I knew this would be one of my favourite images of this shooting...

lighting and composition.. amazing!! .. i don see any post editing here.. that is something to be proud of.. this kind of photo and no editing... gj!

EDIT: i must say the only thing i don't like is lost of focus.. if there is a sharp focus on horse then it would be perfect!

Pfeffernase In reply to HrvojeGabric [2016-03-20 13:25:04 +0000 UTC]

Thanks!
Well, I did some postprocessing Enhancing the light via dodge and burn, adjusting the white balance and colours and removing the halter and leading rope.

You are right with the focus, it bothers me too a little but it was the only pic where he was looking into the camera and I can live with this kind of fuzziness - light and moment over sharpness

HrvojeGabric In reply to Pfeffernase [2016-03-20 13:42:05 +0000 UTC]

well, i doesnt look processed ... gj on that!

hehehe... for me as profesional sharpness is no.1.. after photoshoot.. i import houndreds of photos in LR and first thing i do is go 1 by 1 and permanently delete unsharp photos, no matter how good they are.. well, maybe i keep 1 or 2.. but still.. hehehe..

this one is really good.. but when i full screen it on +27" monitor.. heh..

but dont mind me, its just my photography OCD

Pfeffernase In reply to HrvojeGabric [2016-03-20 14:00:06 +0000 UTC]

Thanks, most of the time I try to keep post processing as subtle as possible (if you are interested, here the before and after LR (in PS I just removed the rest of the halter: www.flickr.com/gp/42894480@N05… ), i love getting good images right out of cam...

And for me as professional ( ) the moment is way more important than a tack sharp image - but thats just me
