The colors are vibrant, and they really help the mood of the overall picture, and the makeup really gives the girl life.
The background (I see abuse of a star brush xD) is very nice in simple pastel colors, sweet and simple is the key~~
I think the only sad thing is the hair. Its beautiful and you can grasp the flow well, but the lines arent sharp (unlike the rest of the picture) so I dont really feel that it's hair. ..
But then again, thats just me. I like clean cut hair. I've a strange feeling you did it on purpose and I do like the effect.

wow thanks for the crit. yah my hair was a bit rough this time, but I also like to make hair into abstract shapes and swirls if you check out the rest of my gallery. It is also really hard to get lineart smooth unless you redraw it in photoshop which is something i hate to do. I love details and swirls, so I practice it a lot and it didn't take long. The hard part was actually her expression and that was the part I did over and over. Not perfect, but oh well.
I need to download some new, nice brushes. I see photoshop brushes used in really nice work, so for me, it isn't the brush, but how you use it.

thanks!!! let's see...lineart was about 1-2 hours, i redrew this over and over. and the coloring about 2 hours. So in total around 4-5 hours. I always work on stuff sporadically. I feel I need to leave it alone for a little and come back to it too.
