EDIT RANT 2: I was surfing youtube and watched this vid [link]at 0:35 i nearly spit out my apple juice.

the actual evolutions have been revealed [link] and i hate them ;^; i had such high hopes and they just smushed it like a grape....... now i don't like any of the starters.....

If it wasn't I wouldn't be holding the original I worked on till 3am in my hand at this very moment. I feel like a knife was stabbed right through me. Especailly when I see people say the want to 'fav the original'. I feel very betrayed...
EDIT: srry i'm not all that super creative. i dont draw pokemon often enough for that. don't coment and say that there's not enough difference between them. this was ust for fun.

my favorite type of pokemon was always grass i would start with treecko or turtwig or watever...after i saw this ne grass type starter come out i got very exited :3 i cant wa for the game to come out ^^
btw the other starters are o very origanal cause the water type starter looks alot like piplup =-=;

And I think Mijumaru looks a LOT like Piplup (what, with it's giant nose and all looking like Piplup's beak, and it's VERY similar body/head design)

I found a higher resolution version of this image with different (better) colors than this on (a certain imageboard); because of this, I am inclined to believe that you printed out the sketch the original artist posted earlier, colored it with cheap markers, scanned it, and claimed to have designed it yourself.

If you are to accuse someone of stealing artwork, then the only logical way to do it is to post the link of which you saw it on. Without that "evidence" of yours, you have no right to say that this artwork was stolen.
I would also like to say that the next time you accuse someone of stealing artwork, you talk to them through private PMs first instead of causing drama like you have already. Don't jump to conclusions when nothing has yet been proven or you could end up being looked upon as a misinformed jerk.
Also, why not check the time that it was uploaded? If the artwork you are defending was posted after this one, then it should be obvious that the one here is the original, not the other way around.

I didn't even make any accusations, if you would read the comment properly. I just state that there is an other, higher resolution/more detailed colors version circulating on a certain high-volume board that discusses pokemon. There are no perma-links, otherwise I would link to it. I realize my earlier comment is somewhat affronting. I am doubtful because of how many copy-paste-kids there are on da.

I can see why you would be doubtful for there are works being stolen here and there and being posted onto dA. However, you can see that a lot of people are defending this artwork, so I sincerely doubt that this was stolen.

WHAT? Please send me a link of this. I'm very upset to hear someone did this. It's understandable that you would think that but this is 100% mine. I never print out or steal anyone's images without permission. Just because my scanner isn't the greatest in the world and I love to use my (very expensive copic) markers doesn't mean that it's not mine. Someone must have stolen my art and retraced it digitally from what your saying.
