Well for thoes of you who have ever seen Bleach you'll know what this is. For thoes who haven't A Zanpakuto is soul cutting sword. I myself don't know all that much about Bleach mostly I made this cause my friend loves the show and he's my best friend who is more like a brother than a friend...so anyhoo he writes stories and myself and himself are always two characters he writes about and so he made a bleach story and he asked me to do a Zanpakuto for myself. He'll name it too I just call it ZanpakutoRelated content

I like the design. It's kinda simple, buts its very pleasing at that. The ribbons look well done as well, and I would really love to see some reflections and shading on this thing.
If you got around to doing that, I think it would look very cool indeed.

I've seen one, and a bunch of AMVs. I just like the pretty lights and swords.
It beats Gundam Seed destiny or something, it was on the half hour previous, and I didnt get a word of it.
also, hurray for artists and writers teaming up. Even if its just friendship, it's an awesome thing to behold.

Thanks. It hadn't occured to me to shade it really. I've not thought about this sword since I made it, I enjoy my friends writings because he always makes me a character in his stories. Besides he's the one thats really into Bleach, I've seen a grand total of two episodes.

Very nice. But that would be it's Shikai (Second form) just to let you know. Almost all Zanpaktou start as a normal looking sword, just thought I'd let you know.
But that is a very nice design. I love how you got the wraps on the hilt to look, I still haven't been able to do that yet.

Yeah I hadn't mentioned that. This is it's first release as Matt tells me. Some time ago I actually drew a katana that I would love to have made and my friend Matt that writes the stories said he used that one for my initial Zanpakuto. I'll have to do a pic of the Katana. It's really nice, and I don't know why but the tsuka is taped in purple...tho I never really decided what I wanted to use for the tape, but I always thought it would look great purple. It seems too me silk would be kinda slick so I'd probably used banded cotton. But all the fittings except for the Habaki and Seppa would be black, including the Tsuba which would be round with a phoenix design in it. The blade would have a suguha hotsure tempered line pattern. I am sure that he will have me a finale release form but he's not asked me to do that yet so I've not. But I'm gonna do that Katana then post it. Thanks Dante.
