This is 's character Jacques Mourant macgreen.deviantart.com/art/Ja… . I hope this meets with her approval. I had a lot of fun working on this character. Thank you for commissioning me, I appreciate it a lot. Sorry for the wait.Long time no see everybody. The journal function refuses to work on my computer, which is annoying because I'd like to write a proper journal. But I'll just write up a little update here. I recently moved house, and I start graduate school next week, so I've been pretty busy. However, I'm still open for commissions, if anyone's still interested. I'll be selling stuff at AWA this year, so look for me there if you're going to be attending the con.

Ahhhh!! I saw your note this morning but couldn't answer straight away but finally I have time to do so.
I don't know where to begin my comment since I have so much to say about this!
First of all; I really love the thin smooth lines and watercolour texture together.
The choice of colours and the tones of grey and black are in balance, and that really pleases my eye.
I love how you added the black smoke and connected Jacques with the theme of death wit it. It's grim, but very beautiful and mysterious.
There's probably even more personal symbolism to me in this artwork that you'd ever guess, which is great because it gets deeper
into the character and makes this piece even more perfect. *u*
I knew you would be a good choice to draw Jacques for me and I was right; you did a wonderful job!
When I see great pieces like this done from my charcaters I get inspired and want to draw them more.
This certainly made me want to draw Jacques again, since I haven't done any finished drawings from him in years!
Overall this looks gorgeous and I'm very happy with it!

Have you drawn any comics or written any stories featuring him? I read the description under his reference, but I'd like to see more of him.
